Choose one useful entry
Start with something you already notice: a meal, a glass of water, or the date of a dose. Set optional targets only when you have a target you want to record. An empty target is allowed.
Use the real date
When you add something later, change the entry’s date and time. Nourish stores the event time separately from the time you edited it. This helps a later report describe when things happened.
Make a repeatable meal
Record one regular meal, check each serving, and save it as a template. When you reuse it, adjust the quantity or ingredients for that day. A template is a starting point, not evidence that you ate it.
Leave room for gaps
A journal does not need perfect coverage to be useful. Skip fields you do not know. Review weekly coverage so an incomplete day is not mistaken for a complete account of food, symptoms, or treatment.
